Don Cherry says he thinks the Phoenix Coyotes will move back to Winnipeg.

He tells our sister station 92 CITI FM in Winnipeg that if the Canadian billionaire rumoured to be interested in the club doesn’t have enough money, he’ll invest in it.

David Thomson reportedly wants to purchase the Coyotes and move them to Winnipeg.

The Coyotes were known as the Winnipeg Jets until 1996, when they moved to Phoenix.
