DALSA reports first-quarter profit

Waterloo’s DALSA corporation reported a profit in the last quarter.

DALSA’s profit in the first quarter was $3.7 million or 20 cents per share, which is up from $1.3 million or 7 cents per share in the same quarter last year.

The digital imaging company is posting a revenue of 49.9 million dollars for the quarter ending March 31st.

DALSA also increased their quarterly dividend from .05 to .06 per share.

DALSA stock rose 8 cents today to $8.10.
