OPP long weekend blitz

A heads up for drivers heading out this long weekend.
The OPP will be out patrolling roads from the land and air in a heightened effort to crack down on aggressive and impaired drivers and those not wearing seatbelts.
Last year – over 300 people died in collisions.
Alcohol was a factor in 18% of deaths, 26% of people killed were not wearing seatbelts, while speeding also accounted for 26% of traffic deaths in 2009.
