SIU clears officer

The Special Investigations Unit has cleared a Wellington County OPP officer in a fatal crash last month.
The SIU determined there were no reasonable grounds to believe the officer committed a criminal offence.
22-year-old Katherine McNally was killed in the crash on Highway 23 near Palmerston back on February 11th.
The officer was attempting to pull over a vehicle, shortly after making a U-turn, the suspect vehicle hit another car heading in the opposite direction.
McNally was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two others were injured in the collision.
