The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation snags a pretty impressive honour.
It’s received the 2010 Non Profit/Charitable Award from the Greater Kitchener Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.
The award recognizes leadership and innovation within the charitable sector.
Foundation CEO Rosemary Smith says “We are so very pleased and humbled to be the recipients of this much-celebrated award.”
The foundation edged out the Kitchener-Waterloo YMCA and United Way of K-W and Area, among others, for the honour.
