A warmer winter means the City of Kitchener has been able to gain the upper-hand on potholes.
The mild temperatures have also meant fewer holes to fix.
The City of Kitchener’s Director of Operations, Jim Witmer says they are in a better position this winter, compared to the last two.
Witmer tells 570 News the weather also allows crews to use hot mix, which lasts longer and is a more permanent solution.
He says the public are encouraged to call the city about problems areas.
