Outside workers approve three-year deal

A tentative agreement between the Region of Waterloo and more than 200 of its outside workers has been ratified.
It’s a three-year deal which includes wage increases of 2-percent this year and 2.25-percent in each of the final two years.
The workers are involved in such areas as waste management, airport operations and rural road maintenance – including winter maintenance.
