GRT driver assaulted

Police are looking for a male suspect after an assault on a Grand River Transit driver.
It happened around 9:00 a.m. Sunday after the driver allegedly left the terminal and didn’t stop for the man.
He later got on the bus after catching it at the next stop.
The man allegedly hit the driver twice before taking the transfers and running off at King and Bridgeport.
Police are looking for a black man with a slim build, 5’9″ and in his early 20’s.
He was wearing a burgundy toque, white and black coat and had a black, grey and white backpack at the time of the attack.
