Earthquake survivors in Haiti will benefit from a fundraiser being held in Waterloo Region. Mike Kropf, whose wife Lisa was in Haiti when the earthquake struck January 12th, is one of the organizers of the event. He tells 570’s Jeff Allan Show that all funds raised will go directly towards the Red Cross Tent Project.
Kropf says the fundraiser will feature music, dancing and both a live and silent auction. To that end, he’s still asking for items or services to be donated for the auctions. The function will be held on Friday, March 19th at the Waterloo Regional Police Association Hall in Cambridge. It is limited to 350 tickets.
