Kitchener fire deemed accidental

A major fire in Kitchener Tuesday afternoon is believed to have been accidental.

Flames tore through an industrial building on Howard Place, in the Bridgeport area, around 3:00 p.m. causing roughly $500,000 in damages.

There were no serious injuries, and authorities are looking into whether the fire was started by sparks from a torch coming in contact with a gas tank.
