Child attacked by dog needs surgery

A toddler who was bitten in the face by a dog will have to undergo plastic surgery.
The two-year-old Kitchener boy lost the end of his nose when a Jack Russell terrier cross bit him on Saturday.
The boy was visiting an apartment on Queen Street at the time.
The K-W Humane Society has declared the dog a dangerous animal.
Now the owners must put a muzzle on their dog and have it microchipped.
