Hughes is Olympic flag bearer

Clara Hughes’ coach confirms the speedskater will carry Canada’s flag into the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver Olympics.

The 37-year-old already has five medals in her trophy case.

She is the defending long-track champion in the 5,000 metres and a silver medallist in the team pursuit.

The opening ceremonies are in two weeks and you can listen to them on 570 News.
