Premier talks health-care during Kitchener stop

Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty made a brief visit to the city this afternoon.

He met with a local health team, and told reporters that Ontario is spending more of its budget on health-care than anywhere else in Canada.

McGuinty was also asked about funding for the expansion of Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

He says there is nothing right now, but it’s something that is under consideration.

Then it was over to the 570 News studios for an appearance on 570’s Gary Doyle Show.

McGuinty talked about a number of issues including health-care, CMH, and all-day kindergarten.
