Cab driver hit with gun

Waterloo Regional Police say a cab driver in Kitchener was hit with a gun and robbed while giving a passenger a ride Tuesday night.
The driver picked up a man on Courtland Avenue around 9:30 p.m and drove him to Dixon Street.
When the cab driver stopped the car, the passenger pulled out a gun and hit the driver several times.
He took some cash before running away.
The driver received minor injuries.
The suspect is described as a black man, about 25-30 years old.
He was 6 “6” and weighed about 180 pounds.
