The Kitchener Rangers have dealt goalie Mavric Parks to Barrie.
Kitchener gets a 3rd and 5th round draft pick from the Colts.
The Rangers have recalled Mike Morrison from Stoney Creek from the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League.
Rangers Head Coach Steve Spott tells 570’s Gary Doyle Show it was not the original deal he agreed to.
Spott says the agreement that was worked out late Sunday night involved a player and draft pick coming from Barrie.
He says it’s distasteful and he’s shocked by the actions of the Barrie Colts.
The OHL trade deadline hit at noon Monday.
