Olympic torch day events

Many events happening all across the region today to celebrate the arrival of the Olympic torch.
In Waterloo, festivities will be held in Waterloo Public Square with hot chocolate and skating at the new rink.
Over to Cambridge where their will be an Extreme Trampoline show at city hall starting at 2:15, 3:15 and 4:45.
The Chair of the Celebration Task Force Anne Bilodeau tells us their is a lot to check out downtown before the torch arrives with Face-painting, crafts and displays produced through the local Adopt-an Athlete program.
The festivities in downtown Kitchener will start at 3 this afternoon and culminate with the community’s final torchbearer Pat Doherty arriving around 7 tonight.
