Olympic torch arrives in the region today!

Its the day local residents have been waiting for-the Olympic Torch enters the region today on the 59th day of the relay!
The torch will depart London city hall at 8:00 am sharp traveling east on Dufferin Ave to Waterloo Street,and then head out Dundas street.
The next major stop will be in Stratford.. where the cauldron will be lit around 11:30 at Market Square.
The torch will finally make its way to Kitchener around 5:45 p.m, arriving at the intersection of King and Union, travelling down King, up Water street and across Duke before heading down Frederick and back onto King, making the final stop at Kitchener city hall.
Keep in mind that King street will be closed from 9am to midnight, and GRT is providing free bus service as of 2:00 this afternoon.
Festivities will kick off at City Hall at 4:00 this afternoon.
