New runner gets to carry torch

Janice Newton expects there to be plenty of emotion when she carries the Olympic torch on Sunday.

She gets the torch near the Waterloo Public Square.

Newton tells us she plans to run slow, considering you only get to carry it 300 metres.

She had to write a 200 word essay about being active.

Newton says she only started running when she turned 40.
