The May Court Club of KW is hosting its 2nd annual Care-a-Thon. The event, which continues until December 13th, raises money for Make-a-Wish Canada, The Gies Family Centre at The Hospice of Waterloo Region, and KidsAbility. The May Court Club is a dynamic group of women who make a difference in the lives of women and children in our community, running outreach programs, effective fundraisers, and the May Court Shop in Belmont Village. Do you like the idea of smashing some stuff while supporting a charity? Then this weekend’s Smashmania event is for you! A pop-up smash/rage room will appear this Friday in Brantford, allowing you to vent your rage by smashing objects in a room. The event is being hosted by All-Day Breakfast: The Creative Agency. To sign up for your chance to take a hammer or a wrench to an object in the room, click here: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/smashmania-tickets-203833019047. All funds raised will support RPlaces Transition Centre, which aims to fill the service gaps that exist within the Social Service field.
