The ”Brain Box” is a mental health subscription box you’ll actually like. Behind every BrainBox is the goal of providing a resource that would not only be helpful, but be exciting to receive. A lot of work and thought goes into each box to make it something worth looking forward to. Each BrainBox is curated to provide products, tools, and resources that won't be tossed into the recycling bin or carelessly squished into the bottom of a backpack. Every item in a BrainBox serves to foster good mental health, provide joy, and equip you to be a mental health advocate. The 12th annual “Hike for Hospice” in support of Lisaard and Innisfree is fast approaching! Instead of gathering in one area to hike as a large group on Sunday, June 6, we encourage you to register, participate socially distanced, and most importantly, raise funds as you would have previous years. Based on COVID recommendations, you and your teams can walk the 2.5km or 5km in whatever capacity is comfortable and safe for you to do so – in your backyard, on trails, in parks, or even at the beach! This family-friendly event is a wonderful opportunity to gather with your bubble and celebrate loved ones while helping raise funds essential to the daily operation of Lisaard and Innisfree Hospice.

100% of the money raised in our Hike for Hospice goes to support our residents and their families. To take part, click here: https://raceroster.com/events/2021/44591/lisaard-and-innisfree-hike-for-hospice

The Waterloo Region Family Network is ready for another ‘Evening of Elegance’ but, this year, the annual fundraiser takes place “@ Home.” The Waterloo Region Family Network (WRFN) is a peer-developed and peer-driven network created in 2009 for exceptional families. The original goal was to offer parents an easy way to connect with others who were traveling similar journeys with their own children – people who truly understood their challenges and were able to provide empathy and support through a friendly ear, a helping hand, and guidance when needed. The ‘Evening of Elegance at Home’ is an important annual fundraiser for WRFN and this year it provides you the opportunity to prepare a meal to enjoy at home, with some help from The Culinary Studio. Get your tickets before May 1st! https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E353286QE&id=3
