Get excited for incredible art from some of the region's most talented practitioners AND shop for a good cause! The Art$Pay artists are teaming up with Farwell4Hire and raising money for Cystic Fibrosis.

This year Art$Pay has taken its Annual Member Show in a new direction - a unique two part event designed in response to the pandemic and with something for everyone. Part One was totally virtual and wrapped up on November 29th. But you still have the chance to enjoy Part Two!

Part Two continues with an exhibition of artwork at the Gallery at 52 Regina St. N. in Waterloo. The exhibition will open on Thursday, December 3rd (in time for seasonal shopping) and all works will be priced at $500 and under. It’s the perfect opportunity for finding great gifts. Visit the Art$Pay homepage for a video tour of the work on display with art consultant Joanne Poluch (Remarque Art Consulting) and to enjoy a virtual shopping expedition in the gallery with actor Neil Aitchison!  Drop by during open gallery hours or book a private appointment to view the show.

Free art delivery is also being offered in Waterloo Region! Full details can be found at https://artspay.org/, and you can learn more about Farwell4Hire here: https://www.kwcf.ca/farwell4hire. Don’t forget to follow Art$Pay on social media and click HERE to subscribe to the Art$Pay mailing list.

In the fall of 1934, a team of Black athletes earned the opportunity to compete for a major baseball championship. More than a decade before Jackie Robinson broke baseball's colour barrier, this team blazed a trail for others to follow. This beautifully illustrated children's book tells the true tale of the Chatham Coloured All-Stars, as they rose from a bunch of barnstormers to provincial champions. Brock Greenhalgh, an elementary school teacher in Kitchener, captures the story in a new children’s book. https://peppettpublishing.ca/shop/ols/products/hard-road-to-victory-the-chatham-all-stars-story-softcover-childrens-book
