Are you ready to party for a cause, one more time? Stone Soup is coming back to downtown Kitchener! Featuring Joni NehRita + Band, Royal Castles, Monowhales and Beggars Banquet, this annual benefit concert is sure to rock you into spring. To date, Stone Soup benefit concerts have raised more than $40,000 in support of the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre, the Sexual Assault Support Centre, Nutrition for Learning and Doctors Without Borders. This year all event proceeds will support Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. this Saturday night (April 6th) at THE MUSEUM in downtown Kitchener. Get your tickets here:

Education 4 Change is a non-profit, grassroots organization based in Waterloo. The organization works in partnership with the people of the Kelafo district, Somali region in Ethiopia to provide educational opportunities for the 200,000 people in the area. Despite being similar in size to Waterloo Region,  the Kelafo district never had a library, not even in their schools.  And while there are schools in the area, they are often run by unqualified teachers, they are too small for the student population and they lack the necessary  resources to educate their students properly. That’s where Education 4 Change comes in. You're invited to join them at their annual fundraising dinner and silent auction on Saturday, May 4th, at the Stanley Park Community Centre. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and you can purchase your tickets here:
