Festivals are back in Waterloo Region so mark your calendar:

Downtown Kitchener Ribfest & Craft Beer Show July 15-17 in Victoria Park (Willow River Park)

Cambridge Scottish Festival July 15-16 in Churchill Park

Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival July 22-24

Wayback Festival July 23 in downtown Kitchener

2. Campfire in Uptown Waterloo

Wednesday, July 13 7-9 pm

Come sit around the campfire in Waterloo Public Square or grab a bite from a nearby patio and listen to some amazing live music featuring Tanya Rivero. There will also be life-size games out for you to play and enjoy during the performance.

3. Goat Yoga at the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market

Tuesday, July 19 10am

A certified yoga instructor will guide you through a one-hour yoga class while the goats do their best to distract you! This is one of several unique workshops happening at the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market this summer: you can find our more about the workshops and register on the website.

4. Canadian Women's Amateur Golf Championship

July 18 – 22 at Westmount Golf & Country Club

See the best up and coming female golfers at the 108th Canadian Women’s Amateur Championship, presented by BDO, at Westmount Golf & Country Club in Kitchener. The winner earns an exemption into the 2022 CP Women’s Open, as well as an exemption into the 2022 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship.

5. Movies in the Park

Thursday, July 21 at the Bandshell in Waterloo Park

Bring a blanket and watch Disney’s Encanto on a big outdoor screen in Waterloo Park near the Bandshell. Entry is free with a donation of non-perishable food or cash for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.

6. ‘On Golden Pond’ at the Hamilton Family Theatre

July 20 – August 6th

Drayton Entertainment’s production of On Golden Pond comes to the Hamilton Family Theatre in Cambridge. True love that spans the ages is explored with wit, wisdom, and warmth in this touching relationship comedy.

7. Music at the Kitchener Market

Thursday Evenings throughout July 5-9 pm

Music at the Market returns on Thursdays throughout July. Join them at the Kitchener Market for live music, a street food market showcasing local culinary talent, a bar that includes options for all, and artisan products that will be sure to wow you!
