It's a Leap Year, and that means you have an extra day to get out and enjoy everything that's happening in Waterloo Region: check out these fun Things To Do!
1) Mandela: Struggle for Freedom
Opens February 7, 2020
Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum, Kitchener
This exhibit is a sensory experience of imagery, soundscape, digital media, and objects used to explore the fight for justice and human dignity in South Africa - and its relevance to issues of today. It includes a replicate of Mandela's eight-by seven-foot prison cell. When entered, the cell becomes a digital theatre whose walls tell a story of repression and resilience.
