25th annual Christkindl Market 

Outdoor Festival: December 2-5, 2021 
Online Activities: December 1-25, 2021 

Christkindl is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary with a hybrid festival that will feature both in person and online events. Gaukel Street will be home to 25 vendors selling food, Christmas decor, arts/crafts, & clothing. You can also pick up a Christmas tree at Bobby O’Brien’s and catch some live music while you enjoy a glass of Glühwein. 

The online Marketplace of shops and artisans runs until Christmas, while the virtual Advent Calendar features daily videos of past Christkindl Markets.

Live Theatre with Drayton Entertainment 

Shows on Now thru December 26, 2021 

Drayton Entertainment is back with two shows just in time for the holidays. 

The St. Jacobs Country Playhouse presents A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline, while the Hamilton Family Theatre in Cambridge has Back Home for the Holidays. Both productions offer both 100% and 50% capacity shows. Proof of vaccination must be presented for all shows.

Christmas at the Castle 

November 13, 2021 to January 2, 2022 

At Castle Kilbride in Baden, they like to take a whole lot of old and a little bit of new and mix it together for the perfect holiday setting. This is the best time of year to visit the 1877 home and marvel at the lavish décor adorned in festive attire. The Castle will be fully decorated until January 2, 2022.

Cambridge Celebrates Winterfest 

Cambridge Celebrates ‘Winterfest’ will feature many of the great seasonal events the community has come to know and love over the last 20 years.  

Winter Illumination showcases more than 20 festive light installations throughout Cambridge. The Cambridge Christmas Market features the in-person market on December 11th, as well as on online Market where you’ll find unique gifts until December 20. Winterfest winds up with the New Year's Eve Skate on the two rinds at the Hespeler Arena (pre-registration is required).

Live Music at The Jazz Room 

The Jazz Room in Waterloo winds up its 10th season will a full roster of performances, including Tom Nagey’s Christmas Experience on December 17th, and the Jason White Christmas Special on December 18th. The Indigenous Artist Showcase on December 29th will feature 5 of Canada’s top emerging Indigenous artists in an intimate evening of live music.

The Rolling Stones | UNZIPPED

THEMUSEUM, Kitchener 

The Rolling Stones | UNZIPPED delivered by DHL is the first international exhibition by and about the world-famous rock band. THEMUSEUM is proud to host the exclusive Canadian engagement of this exhibit which features hundreds of original Stones artifacts and memorabilia and offers an immersive look at the band’s nearly sixty-year journey. 

UNZIPPED is THEMUSEUM’s largest show to date!
