Like the song says, it's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! There's a lot happening in Waterloo Region: here are 6 great ways to celebrate the snow and Ho Ho Ho! 

1) Christkindl Market
December 5-8, 2019
Downtown Kitchener

Kitchener City Hall has been home to Canada's original Christkindl Market since 1997. With 100 different vendors both indoors and out, lots of food, and free entertainment on the outdoor stage, Christkindl has become a holiday tradition for many families.

2) Christmas in Cambridge
Various Dates Throughout December

For a month each year, the City of Cambridge embraces the holiday season with Christmas in Cambridge Festival of Events. It includes Candyland, Phil Kline's UnSilent Night, the Cambridge Christmas Market, and it wraps up with its New Year's Eve Party.

3) St. Jacobs Holiday Market 
December 12 & 14, 2019
St. Jacobs Farmers' Market

It's a brand-new wintery extravaganza at the Market, featuring fun for all ages. In addition to the regular market happening, join in a series of activities and events that include live entertainment and culinary demonstrations, visits from Santa, one-of-a-kind holiday shopping, and the Festival of Trees.

4) KW Titans Home Opener
December 28th, 2019  2pm

Wateloo Region is home to the KW Titans - a professional basketball team that brings excitement and fun to the court. The Titans kick off their 2019-20 season December 28th against the Sudbury Titans. Last year fans cheered the team on as they advanced to Round 2 of the 2019 NBL Central Division Championships!
