Kitchener Rangers 16th annual Remembrance Day Ceremony and Jersey Auction 

November 5, 2021 7:30pm 

Kitchener Memorial Auditorium  

The Kitchener Rangers 16th annual Remembrance Day Ceremony and Jersey Auction, which raises funds for local military charities, is back! They’ll be wearing these special jerseys on November 5th when the Flint Firebirds visit The Aud. The game will also feature a special ceremony and puck drop. 

The 2021-22 jersey is inspired by the Kitchener-Waterloo community and their ability to come together to support WWII efforts.

St. Jacobs Sparkles!  

November 12 - 28, 2021 

Village of St. Jacobs 

The dates for this annual event have been stretched out to avoid crowding, and to give you more time to shop! Returning to the event this year are the Victorian carollers, the Fire Fighter Barrel Burn, and Santa Claus! Find out all the fun that’s in store for you on the website.  

While you’re in St. Jacobs, you can also take in the Holiday Sip n’ Shop, and Holiday Art Market happening at the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market on select dates. 

  

Gift of Lights 

November 13, 2021 to January 9, 2022 

Bingemans, Kitchener 

Gift of Lights is back with its family-friendly drive-thru holiday light display that includes two drive-thru tunnels and over 300 animated and static light displays! Enjoy this holiday spectacle from inside the comfort of your own vehicle and tune into Gift of Lights Radio at 103.3FM.

Santa Claus Parades 

The Lions Club of Kitchener is once again doing a Reverse Sants Claus Parade. It takes place in Kitchener at The Aud on November 20th, and in Waterloo at Grey Silo on November 21. At each parade the Knights of Columbus, with assistance from the Waterloo Fire Department, will be collecting toys for the Christmas Toy Drive and food for the Waterloo Region Food Bank. 

The Cambridge Santa Claus Parade will take place on Saturday, November 20th, 2021 at 6pm in Riverside park and will be a stationary (drive thru) parade.  Pre-registration will be required for the public to attend.  

Christmas Tyme in Wellesley returns, featuring a Parade of Lights through the village on Friday, December 10th at 6:45pm.    

 

The Rolling Stones | UNZIPPED 

November 30, 2021 through to February 27, 2022 

THEMUSEUM, Kitchener 

The Rolling Stones | UNZIPPED delivered by DHL is the first international exhibition by and about the world-famous rock band. THEMUSEUM is proud to host the exclusive Canadian engagement of this exhibit which features hundreds of original Stones artifacts and memorabilia, and offers the most comprehensive and immersive look at the band’s nearly sixty-year journey. 

UNZIPPED will be THEMUSEUM’s largest show to date!
