Weapon brandished during person on person robbery in Waterloo

Regional police continue to investigate following a reported robbery in Waterloo.
That robbery is said to have occurred on Sunday morning around 12:25 a.m. in the area of King Street North and Princess Street East.
According to police, the victim was approached by a group of unknown males and assaulted, resulting in minor injuries and their personal property being stolen.
A weapon was also brandished during the robbery.
It is believed that the involved suspects fled the area on foot.
