Victim seriously injured after Kitchener stabbing

A stabbing in Kitchener has police investigating.

Regional police were called to the Queens Boulevard and Elm Ridge Drive area Saturday night for a disturbance, but weren't able to find anyone.

Then, they were told of someone who showed up in hospital with a stab wound sustained in the incident.

Police said the injury is considered serious, but not life threatening.

Police believe this incident was targeted and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
