Victim assaulted during robbery in Waterloo

Police are looking for a suspect after a person-on-person robbery in Waterloo.

It happened Monday afternoon, in the area of Davenport Road and Hallmark Drive.

Police say the victim made arrangements to meet the suspect after posting an item for sale online.

After meeting in a parking lot, the victim was allegedly assaulted and had their personal property stolen. The suspect then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male with a slim build, around 18-years-old. He was wearing a red hoodie, grey pants and a black face mask.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault.
