A robbery gone wrong, and now two men will spend extended time behind bars.

Multiple reports say 30-year-old Kenneth Morrison and 27-year-old Mowafag Saboon have been found guilty of first degree murder by a judge, in the shooting death of Shaun Yorke in Kitchener over three years ago.

It's reported they were two of four people who went into Yorke's townhouse on Elm Ridge Drive the morning of July 8, 2018 to rob Yorke.

The two face an automatic life sentence with no chance of parole for 25 years.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 9.

Two teenagers were sentenced to three years in jail in May 2019, after pleading guilty to manslaughter in connection with the incident.
