Two Hamilton residents charged in rash of break and enters in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested two people in connection with five break and enters in the Deer Ridge area of Kitchener.

All happened in the early morning hours on Thursday, November 21.

Police say in all five incidents, residents were at home and sleeping.

Electronics, credit cards, cash, identification and a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe were stolen.

Members of the Break, Enter and Auto Theft Unit of Waterloo Regional Police later located the stolen vehicle in the Hamilton area.

A 20-year-old man and female youth from Hamilton face several charges including break, enter and commit – theft of a motor vehicle, plus possession over $5,000.

Police say they also recovered the property that was stolen from the residences.
