Two facing charges after Cambridge drug bust

A man and woman from Cambridge are facing a long list of charges following a drug bust in the city.

On Friday evening, the South and North CORE (Community Oriented Response Enforcement) teams of Waterloo Regional Police executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Hilltop Drive and Franklin Boulevard.

Officers seized over $6,000 worth of suspected fentanyl, $1,800 worth of suspected methamphetamine, scales and various electronic devices.

In addition, they also seized over $3,000 in cash.

A 28-year-old woman and 39-year-old man are facing numerous criminal offences, including weapons and drug-related charges.

No names have been released.
