Two arrests have been made after several drive-off thefts at local car dealerships.

There was a total of six thefts between February and August of this year at several dealerships throughout the region.

Police said the suspects would distract the salesperson, then steal the vehicle being shown to them.

The stolen vehicles were two Dodge Rams, two Dodge Caravans, a Honda Accord, and a Jaguar.

On Thursday, police carried out a search warrant at a Milton home.

Five of the stolen vehicles were recovered on that property, including the Jaguar and a Dodge Ram.

Police said the total value of the recovered vehicles is around $200,000.

Two Milton men---a 27-year-old and a 28-year-old are charged with six counts of theft of motor vehicle, as well as two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000.
