Suspect wanted in Kitchener assault

Regional police are seeking a suspect following an assault in Kitchener.

It was reported to police just before 4 p.m. Monday.

The victim was allegedly assaulted by an unknown male, while walking outside a store, in the area of Highland Road West and Lawrence Avenue. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police describe the suspect as a tall white man in his 50s, with a large build. He had black and graying hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and fled on a bicycle.
