Waterloo Regional Police have provided an update on last week's robbery at Conestoga Mall as a fourth suspect has been found dead in Toronto.

Initially, police arrested three male suspects from the GTA following the robbery at a jewellery store on February 2.

A fourth suspect remained at large as an individual had reportedly forced a family out of their SUV and stolen the vehicle.

Waterloo Regional Police announced on Tuesday that the outstanding suspect was identified and located by police in Toronto.

"Toronto Police Service located the subject deceased in Toronto due to a medical event," read a release from WRPS.

Police added their investigation into the robbery is ongoing and made an appeal for anyone with information to contact them.
