Police have arrested a suspect after responding to reports of a man with a gun in Kitchener.
On Feb. 4, at 1 a.m., police responded near King Street East and Montgomery Road after receiving information that a man was observed in the area with a concealed firearm.
Police located the suspect and made an arrest after determining the firearm was a BB gun.
A 40-year-old Kitchener man was charged with possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and a breach of probation.
There were no physical injuries reported.
The accused was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
