Regional police seize weapons, drugs in Kitchener investigation

Police completed a search warrant in Kitchener on Thursday, resulting in the seizure of a number of drugs and weapons.

The investigation took place in the King Street East and Kinzie Avenue area of the city, and a 32-year-old Kitchener woman was arrested.

Fentanyl, cocaine, MDMA, a conducted energy weapon, ammunition, body armour, and drug trafficking indicia were all found at the property, according to WRPS.

The Kitchener female has been charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
