Regional police seize suspected cocaine, stolen credit card during traffic stop

Waterloo Regional Police Service's Direct Action Response Team seized suspected cocaine as a result of a traffic stop in Kitchener on April 19.
Around 8:25 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Cedar Street South for a man allegedly driving a vehicle while prohibited.
Through the investigation, they found a stolen credit card and suspected cocaine.
The driver, a 64-year-old Kitchener man, was arrested and charged with operation while prohibited, unauthorized use of credit card data and possession of suspected cocaine.
The man was held for a bail hearing.
