Police seize weapons and suspected drugs after warrant search in Cambridge

A 35-year-old Cambridge man and a 37-year-old woman are now facing weapon and drug-related charges

Regional Police seized a firearm, conducted energy weapon and prohibited knives in addition to suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine.

Regional Police have charged a 35-year-old Cambridge man and a 37-year-old woman with several charges after executing a search warrant on Friday. 

Members of the service's Direct Action Response Team conducted a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search in the Walter Street area of Cambridge, seizing a firearm, a conducted energy weapon and prohibited knives. 

Regional police note they also seized suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine. 

As a result of the investigation, both individuals are now facing weapon and drug-related charges - including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
