Police seize weapons and suspected drugs after warrant search in Cambridge

Regional Police have charged a 35-year-old Cambridge man and a 37-year-old woman with several charges after executing a search warrant on Friday.
Members of the service's Direct Action Response Team conducted a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search in the Walter Street area of Cambridge, seizing a firearm, a conducted energy weapon and prohibited knives.
Regional police note they also seized suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine.
As a result of the investigation, both individuals are now facing weapon and drug-related charges – including possession for the purpose of trafficking.
