Police search for suspect after assault in Cambridge

Regional police continue to look for a suspect following a reported assault in Cambridge.
It happened around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday near a business in the area of Dundas Street South and Main Street.
Shortly after arriving on scene, police located a man with physical injuries – while the suspect is said to have fled the scene.
That victim was taken to local hospital by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing – anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have information regarding what occurred is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
