Police respond to gun call in Waterloo

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for a suspect following a report of a man with a gun.

Officers were called to the area of King Street North and University Avenue in Waterloo, just after 8:30 p.m. on Monday.

They say a man pulled out a handgun and approached the victim, who was seated in their parked car.

The suspect pointed the gun at the victim before fleeing the area on foot.

Police are looking for a black man, between 20 and 30 years-old, approximately six feet tall with a thin build.

He had shoulder-length dreadlocks and was wearing dark clothing.
