Police release new photos in relation to robbery investigation

Waterloo Regional Police have released new images connected to an ongoing robbery investigation in Kitchener.

They're asking for the public's help in identifying the person pictured here.

The incident happened the evening of January 3.

Police were called to a store in the area of Ottawa Street South and Fischer-Hallman Road around 6:30 p.m.

According to police, a male was observed attempting to leave without paying for merchandise.

When approached by store staff, there was a physical struggle and the suspect allegedly used a knife against a store employee, cutting their clothing. The employee was not injured. The suspect then fled.
