Police make arrest after series of local break-ins

They include break-ins in Waterloo and Kitchener businesses

A Kitchener man's been arrested after police investigation into a series of local break-ins.

Back in February, police received a call about a break and enter in a business on Colby Drive in Waterloo.

After investigation, the service determined that the same male suspect was believed to also be responsible for another break-in at a Kitchener business.

Then in June, police located and arrested a 38-year-old Waterloo man.

He's now charged with:

  • Three counts of break, enter a place - commit an indictable offence
  • Break, enter a place - with intent to commit an indictable offence
  • Three counts of failing to comply with an undertaking

The man is set to appear in court on July 26.
