Police looking for suspicious person after Waterloo incident

Regional police received a report of a suspicious man following an incident in Waterloo on Saturday afternoon.

They said it happened in the area of a school near Chesapeake Drive and Mooring Post Lane around 3:30 p.m.

A young female said she was approached by an unknown man, around 25 to 30 years of age, who repeatedly asked to take photos of her.

Police said the female managed to flee and ask for help. The unknown man is described as 6'0″ tall with short, dirty blonde hair, and facial stubble.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue t-shirt, unknown bottoms, and was riding a dark colour bicycle.

No one was injured as a result of the incident, and anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
