There is concern for the well being of an elderly disoriented man, seen wandering a neighbourhood in Cambridge.

Regional police tweeted just after midnight Friday they were investigating a report of the man wandering in the Gladstone Avenue and Lansdowne Road South area.

Police said they were in the area knocking on doors, and asked residents to check their properties.

The man is described as white, 70-years-old, five foot ten with an average build, balding, wearing a blue night gown, blue t-shirt, blue pajama shorts and no shoes.

In an update Friday afternoon, police said they conducted an extensive search and canvassed the area.

Officers also checked in with local hospitals and other agencies, but noted there were no reports of a missing man or a disoriented man.

The investigation remains ongoing.
