Police investigating vehicle theft in Kitchener

Regional police are investigating after receiving a report of an in-progress motor vehicle theft in Kitchener Friday afternoon.
On May 6 around 3:30, police received a report of a stolen vehicle in the area of Victoria Park on Schneider Avenue.
Through an investigation, they found that during the theft, a 71-year-old man was struck by the car the suspect was driving.
The man was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is still unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
The stolen vehicle is a grey Toyota Camry.
