A Kitchener youth is facing several charges following a stabbing in the King Street West and Green Street area of Kitchener.
According to regional police, that incident occured around 5:40 p.m. on Thursday.
Upon arriving on scene, officers found two victims with stab wounds. Both were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A male was also arrested and charged with several weapons-related offences.
As a result of the subsequent police investigation, a youth from Kitchener has been charged with the following:
- Weapons dangerous
- Aggravated assault
- Assault with a weapon (two counts)
- Failure to comply with a judicial release order (two counts)
Police note that the victim and the accused are believed to be known to one another.
The investigation is still ongoing - anyone with information that could assist police is asked to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
