Police investigating pharmacy robbery in Waterloo (update)

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate – following an armed robbery in Waterloo. 

According to regional police, that robbery occurred on Friday afternoon around 2:15 p.m. at a pharmacy in the Erb Street and Amos Avenue area. 

It's reported that three men entered the pharmacy, brandishing a firearm and demanding cash and narcotics from staff. 

The involved suspects are said to have fled the scene in a vehicle – a small black 4-door Chevrolet sedan. Police said that vehicle was last seen heading south on Fischer-Hallman Road from Erb Street West. 

Those suspects are described as being Black men, last seen wearing surgical masks and blue nitrile gloves.

Police have warned of an increased police presence in the area as they continue to investigate. 

A police spokesperson confirmed there were no reports of injuries.
