Police investigating convenience store robbery in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a knifepoint robbery in Kitchener.

It happened at a convenience store in the Highland Road and Fischer-Hallman Road area on Friday, around 7:45 a.m.

It's reported a male suspect entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as being white, between 30 and 35 years of age, around 5'8'', and has a slim build. He was wearing all-black clothing with grey shoes that had white soles.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
